4 Eldathi warriors that were recovered from the Ancient city of Jericho manage to kill the Dark Emperor using the "Black Scarab" of Anubis, however in doing so they destroy the Life Spark of Taija making it more difficult to bring someone back from the dead. Spells such as Raise Dead, Resurrection, and True Resurrection no longer work. The 4 Eldathi warriors take the Dreadnaught class Warship "The Tyrant" to Jericho and make the city its own country with the release of 1200 Eldathi that were held in Cryostasis. The 4 Eldathi warriors become known as the Exalted ones, Emperor Slayers.
In Fandaria the rebels gain control over Kaylaris and force the remnants of the Gulbuz cultists out of Fandaria and peace is returned to the country. Aselia Lindhardt, leader of the Rebel forces proclaims herself High Queen of Fandaria and begins the rebuilding process to strengthen the country. They make an alliance with Zybok to learn about the technology left behind by the after the Dark Emperor's death.
