The religion of Morgath is a fairly unique one. While they still worship versions of the core pantheons, their worship of them is seen in animistic totems. Each animal is the worldly manifestation of each god and should be treated with reverence.
Hearth Gods[]
The Hearth Gods are the benevolent guardians of the people and their home.
- Hawk: The hawk is cunning and power. She hunters her foes with swift determination. This totem resembles Taija.
- Moth: The most is gentle and kind. She is loving and growth. She is an omen of peace and prosperity. This totem closely resembles Evriel.
- Butterfly: The most beautiful creature in existence. It is grace and beauty. The Butterfly parallels the goddess Sheila.
- Owl: The owl is wise beyond all. He is silent and only speaks when it is required, and when the is required it is important. The Owl's teachings mimic those of Melkyor.
- Bear: The embodiment of strength, both physically and within family ties. Just as the bear cares for her cubs, the Morgathi too much care for their family. Strength of clan is strength of arms. The parallels mirror those of Kor.
Trickster Gods[]
- Fox: Sneaky, cunning, and opportunistic, the Fox is a perfect match to Snechal. There are many stories of the Fox tricking would-be heroes and heroes overcoming his tricks.
- Snake: The snake is the god of the cycle. He is often depicted eating his own tail. While birth is part of this cycle, Joram gives death as well. Legends say that the Morgathi life span was once hundreds of years, but the Snake tricked the ancient hero Ergol into giving up his years and quickly died of old age.
Dark Gods[]
- Dragon of Destruction: While many would immediately think of Bahamut or Tiamat as the dragon, the Dragon Totem lines up more specifically with Garm and a being of destruction. Much of Morgath's history involves dragon attacks and it is only natural to associate the dragon with mindless destruction.
- The Great Cat: A cat is cunning and manipulative. It waits in the shadows until it is time to attack. It uses the night to hide its approach and silently stalks its pray without its knowledge. This can be applied to mortal life as well and Bhalphos' teachings mimic this.
