The mark of the guardian of Avalon, this ring is recognizable by everyone in the nation. It is a symbol of office and prestege. Only the highest ranking Home Guard are allowed to wear a ring. There are 30 total rings crafted by the high mages of Avalon over 50,000 years ago. They were gifted to the original 30 founding members of the Home Guard.
Each ring is the same, except for the new Ring of the Wandering Guard. The rings are made from mythril and have a circle shape on the top with the crest of the Home Guard, the tree of life with crossed sword over it, and spiraling energy going up the trunk.

Abilities[]
The ring of the Home Guard protects the owner from harm as well as assists him in performing his tasks. The ring grants the following:
Bonuses
- +5 deflection bonus to AC
- +5 enhancement bonus to all saves
- +10 competency bonus to Diplomacy

- Greater Teleport 2/day
- Sending @ will to all other rings
Continuous Powers
- Tongues
- Status on all other rings
Ring Removal[]
A ring of the Home Guard is linked to its wearer. The wearer is capable of removing the ring at will. However, if someone else wants to remove the ring from the wearer then he must use remove curse first before attempting to remove the ring, even if the wearer is dead.
Destruction[]
The ring is destroyed if it is worn by a drow that kills someone that either wore a ring, or is wearing a ring of the Home Guard.
